A fellow member of the Roc-A-Fella Records stalls, Bleek made his solo debut in 1999 with Approach of Age. While his debut did guarantee good shell out of aid, he wasn't capable to capitalise on the male plug circumferent his debut, resulting in a questionable collection of songs -- powered mainly by its Swizz Beatz-produced leading unity -- that didn't live up to the lofty expectations many had. In late 2000, his soph album, The Intellect, appeared alongside Bleek's high school profile appearance with Jay-Z in the "Hey Papi" i from the Fruity Prof II soundtrack and its Hype Williams-directed exposure (featuring a cameo show by Pamela Anderson). In plus to this eye-catching promotional gambit, the lead one from The Understanding, "Mind The right way," shortly followed. His third album M.A.D.E. appeared in 2003, followed by 534 in 2005.
